The Makita 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Cordless Impact Driver (model XDT11Z, tool only, battery sold separately) is designed to deliver power and speed in a compact size for a wide range of driving and fastening tasks. It is part of Makita's expanding 18V Lithium-Ion series, the world's largest cordless tool line-up powered by an 18V Lithium-Ion slide-style battery.

Powered by a Makita-built 4-pole motor, the impact driver offers variable speed (0-2,900 RPM and 0-3,500 IPM) and delivers up to 1,460 in.lbs. of Max Torque, providing ample power for a full range of applications. The compact and ergonomic design, measuring only 5-3/8" long and weighing 2.8 pounds (with battery, sold separately), ensures reduced operator fatigue.

For increased job site durability, the impact driver features an all-metal gear housing. It also includes a rubberized soft grip for added comfort and a built-in L.E.D. light to illuminate the work area in dark spaces and close quarters.

Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) is engineered to provide increased dust and water resistance, making the tool suitable for harsh job site conditions.
